About
Above are the three words I would choose to describe myself. As a designer, I love discovering new ways to create and bring things to life. I enjoy being able to come up with innovative ways to solve problems, especially when they seem out-of-the-box! Creating, ideating, and problem-solving are some of my strong suits and design is where I can best apply my skills and my innate empathy for people and their needs.

My Design Philosophy
My design philosophy is simple: good design should be straight-forward and delightful to use. I believe that basic human empathy requires inclusivity and demands accessibility. People within our own communities and in different parts of the globe all have different perspectives and ways of moving through the world; to meet the needs of various users, design must be intuitive and clear. When approaching product design improvements with the users in mind, I can create innovative changes that improve user understanding without compromising aesthetics. Having this design approach has truly empowered me as a creative, while simultaneously empowering the users I support.
Who I Am Holistically
I’m someone who genuinely enjoys deep connection and living creatively. Those closest to me know me as a student of life, a tinkerer, a creator, and a conversationalist. Listening to others, forming connections and the act of creating are all necessary in my way of being.
I would also describe myself as having an entrepreneurial spirit! As a fun fact, before the pandemic hit, I worked on opening a cat cafe in Maryland! I moved pretty far into the process, but unfortunately the shutdowns in 2020 put my plans on a halt. Since then, my dreams have shifted towards the path of product design, but the experience of working towards opening a business was invaluable and taught me how to remain resilient and take charge with a large-scale project.
With that information in mind, it should be no surprise that I’m a huge animal lover. I grew up volunteering at my local animal shelter walking dogs and caring for the cats there, and I’ve even shortly fostered birds. I currently have two cats and I hope to adopt a pup in the near future.

My sweet girl, Mimi! She’s 9 years old and a big cuddle bug.
My orange boy, Maruchan! He’s 12 years old and spunky.
Being a devoted cat mom, I started crocheting small dolls in 2020 and filling them with catnip to create cute cat toys! I also make larger dolls and other accessories for people. You can see some of my creations below. A new goal I have for 2025 is to sell some of my handmade items at an in-person craft market!
